Fall in love with this Baked Cinnamon and Sugar Donut Recipe!

I love baking something fun and different for this time of year, especially when I know it'll take less than 30 min start to finish and if the ingredients are simple and I have them on hand (who can ever find the leaf of a Columbian vanilla bean anyways) haha I like to keep it simple.

These donuts were devoured in 2 minutes flat and had my kids and hubby begging for more.

Cinnamon Sugar Baked Donuts

Before I begin- you will need a donut baking pan. I found mine on amazon for $6! It looks like this:

• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 1/4 cups buttermilk (or whole milk) I rarely have buttermilk on hand)
• 1 egg (beaten)
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 TBL butter (melted)

•1/2 tsp cinnamon
•1/2 cup sugar
•4 TBL butter (melted)
***(Mix cinn/ sugar & butter In seperate bowls)

To start:

Mix dry ingredients and then wet ingredients and combine both together. Mix well. Pour mixture in donut pan (I used a spoon to help pour in pan). Fill mixture 3/4 full inside each donut cut out.

Bake at 350 for 17 minutes.
Let cool slightly and then dip in butter, then the cinn/ sugar mixture and set on cute tray to cool.

To make your donuts more festive and get your kids involved in the Halloween fun, our girls added Halloween sprinkles to their own donuts & we used orange and purple food coloring to dye their milk.

Donut you know we love donuts!
